2nd night of attack forces
this night was a tough night. we were hit hard by spiritual warfare as we were exhausted even by the end of street evangelism, before the service even started. one example was a home located (2) two houses away from the church, where brandon s and i went to pray for an elderly woman. brandon s. began praying for this woman's pain in her legs. she did share that she lost her husband almost (2) two years ago and i sensed the depression and sadness all over the house so we continued down that track. as soon as the depression was declared gone, my body was thrown into the window frame, even though i was standing about 2 feet away. the peace of the Holy Spirit was all over the place after blessing the house and all of the women had tears of joy on their face.
brandon s and i had to quickly go back as the service had just started, but that is only a glimpse of how rough that day was. God remained faithful as He still worked 85+ physical healings alone out of the (120) one hundred twenty that attended. as we travelled home in the van, we all looked like we ran a marathon, but were encouraged after reflecting together on how God carried us through this rough day.

impartation & prophecy
all is can say is, "thank You, Lord." brandon s. received direction, susan f. was given a word, daniel l. was given peace, and maddy b, abby f, and i were all "blasted." i was definitely resting in God's peace as he spoke to me about certain things and other people. soooooo much to share, but sooooo little time to type.
ccc- last church of phase 1
i will make this short and quick. as soon as we walked in, we knew that God has anointed this church. the air was thick with the Holy Spirit! God opened deaf ears, took away physical pain of the elderly, and deliverance. it is amazing to watch and see our team's growth and maturity in their gifts, like maddy b and daniel l:
maddy b- a silent force to be reckoned with!
daniel l- God has increased his confidence exponentially. i was interceding and supporting him as he prayed with authority!!!
we were sad that phase 1 is over, but excited to tackle phase 2.

1st night of attack forces
friday was the first night that we were sent out to run the whole program in conjunction with the smaller churches around curitiba. fortunately, our attack force team leader, mark c., has a solid and matured gift of intercessory prayer, so we were not worried.
from the hotel, it was about 25 min drive, in the middle of a neighbourhood on a hill. the church is only (1) one block from the main street, but a hidden gem. the pastor is in his early 30's and has a heart of gold for the congregation and his community. i spent a long time getting to know the pastor and found out that his congregation is a church plant. the vision of the bigger church is to plant (1000) one thousand churches within (10) ten years. that is a tremendous amount of boldness and faith! after a little over (3) three years, they have planted over (200) two hundred congregations! God is faithful to His ministry as they are cell groups (home groups) popping up left and right, most of them are reaching non-believers. the brazilians are a wonderful example of walking in discipleship, raising, and equipping the next generation of leaders.
we began our time with this congregation by going out, knocking on doors, and inviting locals to the healing service. in a few cases, some of us were invited to pray for folks in their homes because they could not make it, while most did come by. we found many who have never believed, or those who have walked away for a variety reasons. what mattered to God and us, is that the seed was planted by walking those streets and loving on these people.
my translator for the evening service was a 19 year old female college student who had never personally witnessed a miracle. one 25 yr old gentleman was guided up by his mother and (2) two aunts. he could never physically open his mouth and completely deaf in both ears. he communicated with his mother via sign language. i was initially intimidated internally, but quickly cast that doubt to be gone in Jesus' Name. by God's grace, he was able to hear 50% in his left ear and open his mouth. i asked if we could continue and by the end, he could say "ah" and gained 50% hearing in both ears! the joy of the Lord had fallen over himself, the (2) two aunts and his mother. the mother explained that she had always wanted to hear her son's voice. the man did not want us to proceed again because he knew that God is going to finish that work.
child-like faith permeates in this country. thank You, Lord, for showing us examples of how we are to approach your throne.

snowball church
before i begin sharing about God's work at the 'snowball' church, everyone should know we all finally experienced an authentic churrascaria yesterday! there was sooooo much meat and abigail f, daniel l, and i are in agreement that this was the best roast beef we have ever eaten, hands down. daniel l and i ate more than 2 cuts of the roast beef because it just melted in our mouths. my mouth is now watering as i type this. we had a blast and are grateful for the experience. our entire team is grateful for the experience and food. by the way, pictures to come once we return, especially of the extremely rare cut that daniel l ate.
"bola de neve: in Jesus we trust" is the name on the logo of the church we visited last night. it is nicknamed the 'surfer' church and definitely shows. the altar is literally a surfboard and waves underneath it as the base. there is grafitti and paintings, but all to the glory of God and a coffee shop in the back entrance. this is the dream place to reach the youth and even adults who are young at heart. the pastor and i look like twins, but he wears a different set of eyeglass frames! there was a lot of work for God to do last night, but we were being attacked even more last night. i was on the intercessory team that prayed in an 'upper room' behind the altar during worship and the brief sermon. one of intercessory prayer team members all of sudden broke loose and laid his hands to pray over me. i looked up and he was not praying in the Holy Spirit. he then quickly moved to another team member for 5 seconds, then moved to the middle of the room before he crashed on the floor in convulsion. another team member and i immediately laid hands on him and commanded in Jesus' Name for that evil spirit to flee. he coughed and drooled as we continued to command in Jesus' Name. he was done coughing, but the evil spirit was not completely gone. he could not pick up his left forearm off the floor. it was ice cold and heavy and i could not pick it up either. we continued to pray, command, then blessed his body in Jesus' Name. thanks be to God, he was released!
God gave me a vision during our intercessory time and saw a heavy boat anchor dropping into the sand at the bottom of the ocean floor. however, the ocean water was shallow, dark, and muddy. normally, the water surrounds the anchor after dropping, but this muddy water was separated down the middle, like moses. we were definitely under attack as abigail f. was discouraged and did not want to pray anymore, while another girl on our bus could not stop coughing as she attempted to pray. they both stopped after laying hands on (3) three people. the good news is that God still had the glory as others were saved, physical healed, blasted by the Holy Spirit, encouraged, etc. God definitely had the last word last night as that anchor and broke through that dark water.
i have a few testimonies to write up and need to get downstairs for breakfast. please continue to pray, "more, Lord, more!!!"

2nd church
all i can say is "thanks be to GOD" after last night. He has increased His work through us as the numbers increased at the second church we visited. with at least twice the number of those attending than the previous night, there were 150+ of God's people healed. another wheelchair-bound child, who has not been able to walk in a little over a year stood up and walked at least 10 steps. there were sooooo many testimonies from last night!
please lift up abigail f. everytime God reveals to her a word of knowledge, her physical body is attacked. susan f's knee is now walking in a normal manner, brandon s. has received God's peace and love, maddy is continuing to be encouraged and empowered in the Lord after having working with the Lord by laying hands on 10+ and witnessing 100% healing in all of them last night. daniel l. is also growing in confidence because of the work the Holy Spirit is doing through his hands. i continue to ask for more clarity in the pictures He gives me. we are not done yet and ready for the Lord to do more to continue growing the faith of ours and others.

thank YOU, LORD
we just returned to the hotel from a church which translates to 'living rock church' and pumped up for what the LORD has done tonight. GOD'S people who were young, old, infants, single married, teens, etc were in attendance.
their corporate worship was awesome! their leader even shared a song before the sermon that GOD had begun impressing upon him a couple weeks ago, that he just finished. thank YOU, LORD, for its simplicity, purity, and honesty of every heart's desire to love YOU and welcome YOU in. we all praised together, americans, brits, and brazilians in one accord! what an encouragement to witness and experience together in exalting HIS NAME. GOD honored the worship by breaking down the language barrier to where we joined with them in portuguese!
after the sermon was shared, many on our team shared words of knowledge that GOD had revealed to them. things such as headaches in someone's frontal lobe to even congenital heart disease were revealed. as the words of knowledge were shared, those in the congregation were asked to stand if the words pertained to them. the congregation was not receiving this initially with open arms. however, GOD'S children began to rise as members of the team began to pray over the entire congregation as words of knowledge were shared and people stood. some were healed as they stood i.e. an older woman with knee problems who could now bend and stand with no issues.
after the congregation seeing (2) two of their own healed, they were all invited up front with us for prayer and the HOLY SPIRIT carried HIS miracles for us to witness and not only grow the faith of their congregation, but ours as well. here is the count of what GOD accomplished through our team tonight. fyi- we 'officially' only keep count of those that are 80% healed or more:
(1) one lame cripple walked
(1) one rededication
(8) eight emotional healing
(45) forty five physical healing
(1) one deaf gained hearing
(1) one blind gained sight
thank you, LORD, for YOUR work that you have done tonight. we now ask for MORE, LORD, MORE! in the name of JESUS, expand and continue fine-tuning YOUR gifts entrusted to us for YOUR service as we go from place to place to visit our brazilian brothers and sisters. we find rest in YOU tonight hunger for more because we love YOU. we pray these things in JESUS' matchless NAME. amen.

getting ready
it is currently 540pm and we just arrived from eating lunch together. we will be leaving to to our first church service tonight and minister. by faith, we expect to see our GOD move and are all excited. please continue to pray for susan's knee as it was re-aggravated while exiting the bus at the hotel to get ready for tonight's service. more, LORD, more!
HOLY SPIRIT COME...
FATHER GOD, we thank YOU for our truro family back at home. LORD, we thank YOU for the good work that YOU continue to do in our congregation this season. we praise and bless YOU for tory, marshall, carlos, coleman, tim, derek, adjunt clergy, the staff and their families. FATHER, equip them all with stamina and courage to press forward. HOLY SPIRIT, hover over our families, friends, and future friends in the 8, 1030, hispanic, ltwf, and alive services tomorrow as they walk in through YOUR doors to receive from YOUR cup. FATHER, i ask for a hunger and unashamed thirst for our truro family. HOLY SPIRIT, wash our eyes, hand, and feet of everything that hinders us from doing what YOU ask of us. we ask for more love, more peace, more of YOUR FRUIT in us. equip us, LORD. more, LORD, more! in JESUS' name. amen.
side note: last night, the LORD showed me the chestnut tree we have in front of the gunnell house. however, the view moved down to the roots and i saw and heard the roots going deeper and deeper and branching out more and more. the sound grew louder and louder. this morning, GOD then showed different faces, some elderly and some younger, some familiar and some not, walking in HIS doors of a church building. but, we also had some leaving too. i have no clear idea what that means, but when still and talking with HIM, my heart grows heavy for our church family, even as picture of the roots continue to extend and branch out.
there is plenty more to share from the group, but internet connection here is slow and intermittent. the posting of pictures might have to wait until we return, but we will keep trying.

more details about our travels
after leaving dca, we finally made it to our hotel (30) thirty hours later. the challenges began right off the bat in dca as our initial flight to miami was delayed (1) one hour. the american airlines attendant was kind enough to keep us all together to the best of her ability, even on the flight from miami to sao paulo.
the flight from miami to sao paulo was also delayed an hour, but it does not stop there. after circling around sao paulo's airport for over 90 minutes due to fog, we had to land in rio de janeiro in order to refuel. susan found out that another plane carrying other brothers/sisters had to land due to fuel problems, so we all decided to gather everyone together to pray over all in transit, including our plane and crew. thanks be to GOD, (15) fifteen minutes passed and the pilot announced that we had clearance to fly to sao paulo.
(7) seven hours later, we arrived to our 5-star hotel in the heart of the city. shortly after, we worshipped with the team from brazil, new generations. how awesome our GOD is to see brothers & sister energized after everyone's long journey to get here. one phrase to close our blog: more, LORD, more!
